Clash of Critters

Played only for two days so far, even got the weekly card. Already completely stuck with no way to progress. It's insanely hard to get balls and I'm constantly losing progress from being attacked. 'Free' to play, maybe, but 100% pay to progress once you hit around level 90 and playing on 1x or 2x isn't enough to get you anywhere, but it's basically impossible to collect enough balls for a higher multiplicator. I regret spending money on this.

Overall, the game can be fun, but there is a lot wrong with it. A lot of the rewards are underwhelming, and the best rewards practically automatically go to people who pay to win. Paying real money always reaps the scoreboard, which is lots of the gamemodes this app has to offer. Ton of PVP. The regular "plants vs zombies" aspect of the game starts to becomes ridiculous with how your critters, despite leveled up and evolved, aren't doing damage to zombies that your critters are strong against.

Deceptive advertisment. Downloaded the game expecting a tower defense/ creature collecting game, but this is a luck based gacha game instead that requires zero strategy. Tried it for a couple of weeks, but it became repetitive and boring very quickly. At least the part about no in-game ads is true, and the art looks cool.
