I really enjoyed this game, until the most recent update. Since then the game keeps hanging on the login page showing a Checking... message. I tried clearing the cache, reinstalling it, all the usual stuff, but none of this helped. Of course, if the issue is solved, I would give it 5 stars, but at the moment it is unplayable.

If you enjoyed similar games (Vampire Survivors for example), this one will be right up your alley. Brotato is a competent auto-shooter, easy to pick up yet complex enough to keep you hooked for a long time. And despite of what I've been reading about its touch controls so far, I found it precise enough to make it through higher danger level runs. Visually simplistic yet oddly appealing, also the sound design and background tracks fit the game perfectly. One of the best for your phone out there!

Played the game on PC first and it seems to be a good port. Most of the content in the original game was ported over, even newer updates. It is a good game to spend some time for long as well as short sessions, because you can just exit the game after a wave and the progress gets saved. New players will have to explore the game on their own, but for that the game is very accessible considering the description of the variables. Besides that there is a lot of variety in chars which is refreshing.
