Hot Wire: Bomb & Imposter Game

Hot Wire is a charades party game with a 3D bomb and an imposter game twist: guess the word before it blows, then work out who is the imposter.

One phone hosts. Friends scan a QR code and play in their browser, with no app and no account. 3 to 8 players, about 10 minutes a game, and the Party pack is free.

HOW IT PLAYS
One friend holds a ticking 3D bomb. They see the wires but not the answer. Everyone else sees the answer on their manual, but they can't touch the bomb, and they can't say the banned words on their screen. So it's charades with a fuse: describe it, act it out, make the sound, and get the holder to guess the word and cut the right wire before it blows.

• Defuse a 3D bomb: turn it, zoom in and hold a wire to cut it.
• Give clues without the banned words on your manual.
• Hear a slip? Hit BUZZ, like a game-show buzzer. The room votes, and an upheld buzz cancels the cut.
• Strikes speed up the fuse. Three strikes and it's BOOM.
• Short on players? Bots fill the empty seats, so you can try it on your own.

THE IMPOSTER GAME
With 4 or more players, switch on the secret Imposter. One of you wants the bomb to blow and quietly steers the holder to the wrong wire. After each bomb, everyone votes: who is the imposter? It turns Hot Wire into an imposter game, like a spy game hidden inside a guessing game: every clue becomes a possible bluff. Imposter, impostor, call it what you like: watch the friend who gives the strangest clue.
