Gladiators: Survival in Rome is an Action RPG with casual survival game mechanics and big city-building possibilities. You'll experience a new type of survival game with quests, continuous open world progression, monthly events and your dumb ways to die not harming your fun level.

Free slaves from cruel soldiers, explore secrets of dungeons in barbarian and uncharted lands, and build a city of free, surviving men. Craft weapons and armor from what you have gathered, then slay the king's legions and conquer the Roman Empire!

The first ten minutes are fun. Then you unlock the villa, and in a matter of minutes the amount of grinding just increases exponentially, in a matter of minutes you end up doing a task, so that you can do a second task, so that you can do something that will allow you to progress in the game. There is some potential, but at the moment it's basically unplayable unless you want to play every few hours when the stamina has recharged. Eating food or mini games are not nearly enough to restore it.

I started playing that game some time ago but stopped it and just some days ago I started playing it again and today I stopped it again for the same reason. It's no fun to play if the stamina is running out so quick. Besides of that the search for sources takes too long, the storage is too small and some other issues like today I went into a cave and there were a bunch of enemies which to get rid of was very difficult and on my way out they reappear out of nothing. Sorry but no fun to play!

There's a lot more to come in the future updates, including new game modes, so hopefully you'll give the game a chance later on and find something interesting for you personally. Very amusing. it is very grindy, and it has microtraneactions but nothing too crazy. there are some purchases I would definitely recommend just to make it more enjoyable but if you don't pay anything you will be okay. biggest one to buy for me was bag space, it fills up quick. but, you can send your loot back to base anytime from anywhere so it's not detrimental. I am just a hoarder so it was beneficial to me.
