This game is always online. Want to respond to a friend's text while you're in the middle of a run? Expect the app to restart and for you to have to "continue" your run with a limited amount of continues. I didn't reach the point of "unlocking" being able to buy subscriptions, but there's no single pay option to remove ads. All disappointing because the game otherwise seemed reasonably fun. Better off passing on this until they make improvements... not that that will happen.

The game is good but the movement is SO AWKWARD. and sometimes the character just refuses to move (not when a trap is activated) and the visuals are so cluttered that it's extremely hard to tell whether or not an attack is going to hit you, especially in a life-or-death battle. This causes SO many deaths and wasted a ton of time. Also weirdly enough, this game has some sort or input delay, like it only does the movement slightly after I press the arrow.

It's not bad, but it feels like a down grade from the original. The original (Guidus) had customisable difficulty based on how many resources you had, and those resources were something you could only get by playing the game and the amount would increase based upon how good you played. so, someone who found the game very easy could find themselves challenged again just by upgrading the difficulty in a few turns. Unfortunately with this game I find myself bored because I cannot, challenge myself.
