About this game

Nine short games that get harder as you get better. Each one lasts 60 or 90 seconds, keeps its own level, and gives you a score to beat.

THE GAMES
• Bright Spot: tap every smiling face on the board while angry, sad and worried faces get in the way. Find the last smile and a new board appears.
• Another Angle: read a situation, then sort each thought about it as helpful or a thinking trap. From level 6, name the trap for a bonus.
• Silver Linings: see a harsh or gloomy word and build a kinder, balanced one from chunks or letters, like IMPERFECT → GOOD (not PERFECT). Higher levels add misleading extra letters.
• Follow the Flow: swipe where the middle arrow points while the arrows around it disagree. When the frame shows “Aa”, go with the word instead.
• Color Current: tap the color of the ink, not the color the word names. Later levels mix in feeling words and a WORD rule that flips the task.
• Pocket Patterns: squares light up one at a time; tap them back in order, or backwards when asked. Two right in a row and the pattern grows.
• Rule Remix: match a card by shape, color or number. Early levels show the rule; later you work it out from the feedback, and it changes without warning.
• Fact Finder: read a short scene, then sort each statement: did the scene show it, is it a guess, or does the scene say otherwise?
• Signal & Still: tap for smiling faces, freeze for angry ones, and stop when a red frame appears.

HOW SCORING WORKS
• Right answers earn points; mistakes and missed answers cost points.
• Streaks multiply your points: ×1.5 from 5 in a row, ×2 from 10.
• A game's level goes up when you're quick and accurate, and down when it's too much.
• One personal best per game, plus your highest level.
• Relaxed mode removes the clock and speed points, with its own levels and bests.

EVERY DAY
Today's workout picks three games, about four minutes in all, and a streak counts the days you play.

MADE TO FIT
Boards fill your screen without scrolling, on phones and tablets. Light and dark follow your device. Sounds, vibration, reduced motion, color-blind friendly colors and keyboard controls are all built in.

CHECK-INS (OPTIONAL)
Rate your mood, energy and clarity in a few taps, add a note if you like, and look back over 7, 30 or 90 days. Check-ins stay on your device.

FREE GAMES AND PLUS
Every game has one free round. After that, watch a short video for another round, or get Little Shift Plus (monthly or yearly) for unlimited games with no ads. Ads appear in the main screens of the free version, never during a game. Plus renews until you cancel in your store account, and you can restore purchases at any time.

Little Shift is for fun and practice. It isn't a medical or mental health app: it doesn't diagnose or treat anything, and it doesn't promise health or brain benefits.
