Buggy spyware. Every single time you open the app it demands you turn on "adventure sync", which means sharing your location with the app at all times. Not one but two pop-ups every time you play the game "reminding" you to turn it on. Doesn't matter that I've already said no LITERALLY a thousand times, they INSIST that they have access to my location 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. 365 days a year. It also crashes every time you try to catch your first Pokémon since launching the app.

I was never a big fan of Niantic, though the game used to be relatively fun to play, but since Scopely took over and especially over the last six weeks, the game has become virtually unplayable and all the joy has been sucked out of it. Event spawns not spawning (where is Dewpider?), stop spins not registering, game crashing and freezing (new phone, fully up to date, pokemon go is the only app that has issues). Game is being killed off.

Since Scopely took over. The game has changed. Less shiny's, less perfects, less items from Pokestops, less items from gift bags. Less featured seasonal stickers. Even when buying the "delux" raids pass to increase shiny odds. It was very limited, and specific. I saw absolutely no shinys with at least 10 raids, and multiple catches per day during this latest major event. The daily checkin is also very resource heavy, and less skill based. Still can play without money, expect it to be slower
