I use the app for standard banking. Works well enough. I like that it's a mobile friendly version of their website and not a dumbed-down mobile platform. Deposit checks is quick, but the auto sensors seem off the last few months. On a pixel 8. Tells me I'm too far away, then too close, then it's too bright, but be sure area is brightly lit & automatically turns flash on. It would be nice to have the "manual" mode as a button so i can just skip to it right away - app has no issue with my photo.

This new app is awful. I've been with Schwab as a Checking Account customer (I own zero stocks!) since 2013 and never had issues. But in this new app, I literally see no option to view my checking account balance! It's all useless metrics about stocks, when I do not own any stocks! The only way I can see my balance is to go to "Transfers" but there is nowhere to view my transaction history there. This is comically poor UI/UX design and I will be closing my account soon.

The ability to buy fractional shares in nearly every stock is a huge improvement. The app keeps getting better all of time. It could be improved if it had a growth graph that went back longer than two years. Ideally back to the account opening. And to see your annual growth over 1, 3, 5, 10, and since opening. To see what we're doing right/ wrong Also it would be nice to see monthly income charts for each subaccount. You can view income of the total, but only annual income in subaccounts.
