Switched from Google Calendar... so far I kinda miss having at least two colour options for events for non paying users, but that's something I can deal with. What's kinda grinding my gears more is the widget. I don't remember the last time it wasn't tweaking (the events just blip, blip, blip in and out) or being stuck in an infinite loading loop. The auto updates are on, it always works for a day and then it breaks again (on Samsung S22). I guess I'll just keep reporting it. 😩

This doesn't integrate with Android as a calendar app, which means it isn't recognised from launchers which otherwise use calendars from Google or Outlook. I'm not sure what could be done to fix this, but it's very annoying as I'm trying to break free of Google and Microsoft services. In addition, there needs to be a way to import Google Tasks, now that Google has split them away from their Calendar.

Hi Matt. Thanks for the feedback - we'll share it with the team. We're working on better integration with third-party apps, and we'll document your suggestion for adding tasks to Proton Calendar. If you have any additional suggestions on what we can do to improve and earn a higher rating, let us know at https://proton.me/support-contact

Going in the right direction but still with some flaws. Events can't be edited on the App if it has other attendees added to it. You can't even change the calendar it's assigned to. Also needs a better offline mode: I can't edit or add events when I have no reception. Which occasionally happens in certain buildings. I always have to use a different calendar app, add an event there and later copy it over.

Thank you for the feedback - we've shared it with our team. The ability to edit events with participants and the offline functionality of the app is something we hope to provide at some point in the future, but we cannot share a specific timeframe on when this might get implemented.
