I chose this app over the others bcs I could pay a fix price every month and read any comic they had. Well, now besides monthly payment they also require extra payments for the comics (about 70โฌ for a full story). Sorry, but this is ridiculous. I'll just cancel my subscription and go back to reading the same comics in another platform that doesn't double charge. In response to the answer bellow: No, I can't. I starting reading The Lady and the Beast (for example), and I can't pass episode 5.

Hi there! We would like to assure you that you can still enjoy stories with a subscription, without having to buy with Gems. Our intention with the addition of the Buy & Keep option is to give you one more option in how you enjoy our content. To learn more about this update, please see the Notice section in our Help Center.

Downfall of a once great app It used to be my all time favorite app for reading webtoons. That's until the gem system was introduced. Even if you have a subscription: you still gotta pay more for reading specific stories, and no โ the free gems included in the subscription don't get you far. The app is buggy, can't do screenshots anymore โ it's truly saddening to see. If costs were the issue: it would have been fine to raise the subscription price, but still be able to read EVERYTHING on it.

Hi there, thanks for your feedback. While we remain committed to the subscription model, adding Gem titles has allowed us to bring you more stories while also offering the original creators another option to share their work. Rest assured, weโve passed your feedback to our team. For more details about this change, visit our Help Center.

I deleted the app and cancelled my subscription shortly after manta added the gem model for some comics. I don't want to keep track of points, gems, coins, or anything like that, I just want to pay a subscription and be done with it. My problem with the app now is that the gem comics are EVERYWHERE. I don't want to see them. They should be shown less or there needs to be an option to hide them. I will not redownload and resubscribe until this is fixed.
