I like the game and everything it has to offer but I'm giving it 1 star bc of the stupid paywall that limits you to only have 30 pokemon in your box, being over 1000 pokemon in total, and only 3 slots for a team is terrible that we have to pay a subscription to extend that, while the switch version has a one time purchase pack that increases that. I'll change this if they change that annoying paywall feature.

That's my first ever competitive Pokémon game I played and it's very fun. You can build your team however you want, there are double and single battles, ranked and casual and you can recruit Pokémon so you don't have to play the mainline games to get Pokémon. The only downside is that the Quality is bad the story is forgettable and there's almost nothing they added but Yeah very fun game for competitive Pokémon.

The actual game is amazing, however there are some issues around the good parts of the game. I understand that they need to make money, I'd happily purchase the starter pack that they offer on switch, however that is not sold on mobile and that means being hard capped to 50 pokemon unless you want to purchase a recurring subscription. Not good. Being locked to one device makes no sense, I'm tired of reinstalling the app every 2 days just because I want to play on a different device.
